Built in 2009. Built to Stay.

Florida Boys Lawn & Landscape is a property care company serving Lighthouse Point, FL to Gulf Stream, FL. We work with owners who want one team responsible for the whole property — and who expect it handled the way they'd handle it themselves.

Why Florida Boys Exists

For years we kept noticing the same patterns at properties. The owner had three or four vendors — a mowing crew, an irrigation company, a tree guy, a pressure washer. None of them talked to each other. The lawn looked good but a sprinkler zone was leaking. The hedges were trimmed but the landscape lighting had been out for two months. Three trucks in the driveway, three opinions, and the owner coordinating it all — even though they hired vendors specifically so they wouldn't have to.

Florida Boys exists to be the one team responsible for the whole property. One crew that walks it every week. One person you call when something needs attention. One standard across the lawn, the landscape, the landscape lighting, the irrigation, the pressure washing, the property maintenance, and the vendor coordination.

Less time managing your home. More time enjoying it.

Jorden Ross — Owner-Operator of Florida Boys Lawn & Landscape

Meet Jorden

I'm Jorden Ross, owner-operator at Florida Boys Lawn & Landscape.

I started cutting grass as a kid in one of the original neighborhoods off E. Palmetto Park Rd. in East Boca Raton, FL — the area that used to be the officer quarters for part of the radar base during WWII. My first mower was an orange Scott's push mower from the Home Depot in Deerfield Beach.

During the summers I worked alongside my dad at a large church property in East Boca Raton. I learned a lot there — and that's where my passion for taking care of lawns really took shape.

Over the years, every time I came into that Home Depot I'd usually see Al, and he'd want to hear about different projects and see pictures of what we were working on. It was always a reminder of how far we'd come. He retired last year. I'd known him my whole working life.

For the first stretch, it was just me, a red Radio Flyer wagon full of tools, and that push mower. I ran lawn service for a few years as a kid, then stepped away from it.

In 2009 I came back to the work. The passion was still there, along with the muscle memory of the many lawns I'd already cut. I built Florida Boys around what I already loved doing.

Taking care of other people's properties — from the simplicity of lawn and landscape maintenance all the way to full estate management — has been in our family's DNA for generations. Family stories passed down tell of my great-great-grandfather, the caretaker for Teddy Roosevelt's personal family summer home. That kind of trust — being asked to look after another family's property — is the same trust we work to earn from every owner we take on today. Being trusted as the caretaker of another family's property goes back further in my family than I do.

Today the company looks different — bigger crews, more equipment, more amazing clients, more responsibility. But the work still breaks into the same three modes it always did: keeping established properties consistently dialed in, refining a place to better fit the owner's personal style, and sometimes starting with a fresh open canvas to build a property exactly the way the owner has always pictured it.

The original mower is long gone. The standard is the same. Take care of the customers every time.

The Standard, Laid Out

The standard isn't a slogan. It's a list. Here's what "one team responsible for the whole property" actually looks like in practice:

  • Same crew, every visit. Not a rotating cast. The same eyes who notice when something looks off before you do.
  • One number, one team. Call or text Jorden directly at (561) 886-7982. No phone tree, no dispatcher, no “I'll have someone call you back.”
  • Photo updates on major catches or completed work. When something significant comes up on the property — or gets fixed — you'll get photos and a quick note, even when you're 1,500 miles away.
  • Vendor work coordinated, not delegated. When a specialty job needs an outside vendor, we schedule, oversee, and meet them on-site. You don't manage anything — unless you want to.
  • Three tiers, no surprises. Essential Care for owners mostly on-site. Complete Property Solutions for owners who want it handled. Signature Estate Management for owners who travel often and expect everything ready when they walk in.
  • Built for South Florida. We serve Pompano Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton, Highland Beach, Delray Beach, and Gulf Stream — inland and oceanfront. When the property calls for it, we know how to handle salt-air conditions, coastal grass varieties, and oceanfront irrigation.
  • Licensed and insured. Documentation on request — for you or your insurance carrier.
  • 5.0 rating across 24 Google reviews. Public, verifiable, and we read every one.

A Few Principles We Don't Compromise On

Stewardship over service.

When you hire us, your property becomes our responsibility — not just a recurring invoice. We treat it like our own.

The right way is the only way.

We don't cut corners on dethatching, pruning timing, irrigation pressure, or fertilizer rates. The shortcut shows up six months later. Always.

We don't chase every account.

Florida Boys isn't trying to be the biggest landscape company in South Florida. We're trying to be the one company you trust with everything outside your front door for the next ten, fifteen, twenty years.

Quiet competence over loud promises.

We'd rather under-promise and over-deliver than the reverse. You'll know we were on-site by the property — not by the noise.

Long memory.

We document, photograph, and video different areas of the property through different seasons. That's how we know which areas had issues last year, which irrigation zones need extra attention, and which vendors are seamless to work with — and which ones aren't. So you don't have to.

Walk Your Property With Us

We start every relationship the same way. We meet you on the property, walk it together, ask the right questions, and listen for what's bothering you about the way it's being cared for now. Then we put together a clear plan — what's worth handling, what's not, and which tier makes sense for your situation.

No high-pressure sale. No cookie-cutter package. Just an honest assessment from the team that may be looking after your property for the next decade.

Serving — Pompano Beach, Hillsboro Beach, Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach, Boca Raton, Highland Beach, Delray Beach, and Gulf Stream
