Your lawn needs more than a mower. It needs a program — built from the root and soil up, specifically for South Florida conditions.
South Florida is tough on grass — whether you're maintaining Empire Zoysia, Diamond Zoysia, CitraZoy, Seashore Paspalum, or Bermuda. The heat, the salt air, the heavy rain, and the sandy soil all stress your turf differently depending on the variety. Most of what makes a lawn healthy or unhealthy is happening underground — and that's where this program focuses.
Our Turf Health Care Program is built around the specific needs of South Florida grass varieties. Zoysia lawns need different verticutting depths than Bermuda. Paspalum handles salt differently than Empire Zoysia. We tailor every step — roots, soil, airflow, canopy height — to the grass on your property, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
The result? A lawn built to thrive in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and across South Florida — year-round.
Six steps. Each one builds on the last. The result: deeper roots, thicker blades, and a smoother finish.
Clears the way for new growth
Removes dead buildup so water, air, and nutrients can reach the roots. Zoysia varieties like Empire and Diamond build thick thatch fast in South Florida — verticutting is what opens everything up.
Resets the turf to perform
Brings the grass back to its ideal cutting height — different for Bermuda, Paspalum, and Zoysia — so it rebuilds stronger from the base up. Everything else works better after this.
Gives the roots room to breathe
Opens the soil so roots grow deeper and stronger. Your turf handles South Florida heat the way it's supposed to.
Smooths and levels the surface
Fills in the low spots and evens everything out. This is the step that takes a lawn from "looks fine" to that clean, even finish.
Feeds what's happening underground
South Florida's sandy, alkaline soil needs help — especially for Zoysia and Seashore Paspalum. We put back what's missing so your turf gets healthier from the ground up.
Locks everything into place
The final pass that sets everything in and brings the whole program together. Walk-ready.
There's a reason the best golf courses and private clubs don't use a regular mower on their grass. Reel mowing gives you a cleaner, smoother cut — tight lines, even height, and that soft, carpet-like finish you can actually feel when you walk on it.
It's not just about how it looks. Reel mowing is better for the grass. Instead of tearing the blade, it slices it — less stress, less browning, and faster recovery. For Empire Zoysia, Diamond Zoysia, CitraZoy, Seashore Paspalum, and Bermuda, this isn't a luxury — it's the standard. Each variety has an ideal cut height, and reel mowing delivers that precision every pass, every week.

Whether you're replacing a damaged lawn or starting fresh on a new build, we install the grass variety that fits your property, your lifestyle, and South Florida's climate.
Most popular residential choice
Thick, dark green, drought-tolerant, and handles partial shade. Low-maintenance and looks premium year-round.
Fine-blade, golf-course finish
Finer texture with a tighter growth pattern. That manicured, country-club finish. Requires reel mowing to perform its best.
Fast-establishing, dense coverage
Bred at UF. Establishes faster than Empire, fills in tight, and holds color through cooler months.
Built for salt and coastal exposure
Top choice for oceanfront and Intracoastal properties. Thrives with salt spray, brackish water, and sandy coastal soil.
Full sun, fast recovery
Aggressive growth, excellent wear tolerance, and quick recovery. Best for full-sun properties with heavy foot traffic.
South Florida's classic lawn grass
Shade-tolerant and forgiving. CitraBlue is the upgraded variety — tighter growth, better color, and improved disease resistance.
Most sod failures happen because the prep was rushed. We don't skip steps — and we don't leave after the last pallet goes down.
Nothing new grows right on top of something old
We treat the existing turf to fully kill it off before anything gets torn out. This prevents old grass, runners, and weeds from coming back through your new sod. Depending on the grass type, this takes 7–14 days — and it's worth every one of them.
Strip it down to a clean slate
Once the old turf is dead, we strip it out completely — sod, root layer, debris, all of it. If there's excess material, rock, or old fill that needs to go, we haul it off. You're left with clean, workable ground.
The foundation everything else sits on
We grade the entire area for proper drainage — away from the house, away from hardscape, and toward the right flow points. Low spots get filled, high spots get knocked down. If your property needs additional clean fill or topsoil brought in, we handle that too.
Give the roots something to grow into
South Florida's sandy soil doesn't hold nutrients on its own. We amend the soil with organic material and starter fertilizer so your new sod has what it needs to root in fast — not just sit on top of sand and struggle.
Tight seams, full coverage, no shortcuts
Fresh sod goes down the same day it's cut — tight seams, staggered joints, rolled for full soil contact. We cut around beds, hardscape, and sprinkler heads with precision. No gaps, no overlaps, no pieces left curling in the sun.
We stay on it until it's established
We adjust your irrigation zones for the new sod's watering schedule — heavier at first, then dialed back as roots take hold. Then we come back for follow-up checks over the next 2–4 weeks: moisture readings, adjustments, and eyes on how the turf is establishing. We don't disappear after install day.
We install across Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Highland Beach, Deerfield Beach, Lighthouse Point, Pompano Beach, and surrounding South Florida communities. Every install is backed by our turf health care program to keep your new lawn performing long after installation.
